Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed 2027 Budget, Levy and Water Management District Charges

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers has scheduled a public hearing regarding Proposed 2027 Budget, Levy and Water Management District charges, during the regular Board of Managers meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Mounds View City Council Chambers, 2401 County Road 10, Mounds View, MN. The purpose of this public hearing is to present and receive comments on the District’s 2027 proposed budget and levy, which include Water Management District (WMD) local charges for the Anoka County Ditch 53-62 and Anoka Ramsey Judicial Ditch 1 WMDs. The proposed 2027 budget is $15,118,735. The proposed total levy for the District is $6,143,782. The Anoka County Ditch 53-62 WMD proposes to collect charges of $78,524 and Anoka Ramsey Judicial Ditch 1 WMD proposes to collect charges of $487,181.
