Public Drainage

RCWD is the public drainage authority in the watershed. RCWD inspects, maintains and repairs 116 miles of public drainage system made up of 22 individual systems traveling through three counties and 16 cities. Learn more about the drainage system here.

One of the ways federal, state, and local governments address stormwater runoff pollution is with the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System permit program, or simply called MS4. Learn more about our MS4 and SWPPP permit here.
