Notice of Public Hearing on Ramsey County Ditches 2 & 5 Petition for Realignment and Impoundment

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD), Drainage Authority for Ramsey County Ditches 2 & 5 (RCD 2 & 5), will hold a public hearing under Minnesota Statutes §103E.227, in proceedings to realign and impound a portion of the Ramsey County Ditches 2 & 5 Drainage System. The public hearing will be held during the District’s regular Board of Managers meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Mounds View City Hall Council Chambers, 2401 County Hwy 10, Mounds View, MN.

The Engineer’s report on the proposed realignment & impoundment can be found in the resources section below, or at the RCWD District office: 4325 Pheasant Ridge Drive NE, Suite 611, Blaine, MN 55449. Comments can be directed to Tom Schmidt at tschmidt@ricecreek.org (preferred), 763-398-3076, or by mail at the above address.

Only in-person comments will be taken during the hearing. The public may monitor the hearing remotely using Zoom at the link below. Individuals wanting to address the Board must attend in person. Individuals may timely engage the District office to request reasonable accommodation.
