We Are Water Exhibit Coming to Blaine!

This fall, We Are Water is coming to Blaine! The interactive traveling exhibit will be on display at Northtown Library from October 8 through November 30, inviting visitors of all ages to explore the science, history, stories, culture, and relationships that shape Minnesota’s connection to water.

As a watershed district, we’re excited to see this exhibit come to our community. We Are Water offers an opportunity to learn more about our local waters and consider how each of us can play a role in keeping them healthy.

The Northtown Library will also host a variety of water-focused events and activities throughout the exhibit. Including a special Opening Celebration on Saturday, October 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Activities include a keynote from Minnesota author Kao Kalia Yang, water testing, Story Explorers, pond dipping, and opportunities to connect with local water partners.

Whether you’re curious about where our water comes from, interested in local environmental issues, or simply looking for a fun experience for the family, stop by and discover how we are all connected by water.
